At the beginning...

We have been active in the podiatry market for over 40 years. During this time, we have supported thousands of users worldwide. We have kept pace with evolving trends in thinking (motor preferences, posturology, etc.) as well as societal changes (the desire for more personal time) and growing awareness (the importance of protecting one’s health). With our R&D department, we have constantly innovated to keep pace with these trends. We have expanded our product range by continually incorporating new types of materials and new ranges in line with these various developments. As a result, our solutions allow you to work faster while maintaining control over the choice of materials, shape and corrections, thus creating a unique synergy in each orthotic insole. You can now spend more time with the patient during the clinical examination.

The birth of PodoStep®

Based on these findings, we embarked on a period of research and development to bring you the best solution. We combined the innovation of our OPCT® concept, developed over 30 years ago, with our latest Podiatech range of materials. After two years working in collaboration with foot care professionals to validate the shapes, material selection, and concept, we are now ready to introduce you to our brand-new method. PodoStep® offers total creative freedom combined with rapid assembly.

This new range is entirely designed in Isère at our production facility in St-Etienne-De-St-Geoirs. This ensures high-quality production with precision cutting and strict control over consistent results. Products from this new range are kept in stock at our warehouse.

PodoStep®: how does it work?

With PodoStep®, discover a new way to design orthotic insoles. This range has been designed to simplify and speed up the manufacturing process, while maintaining the freedom of customization essential to your practice. Thanks to pre-adhesive and marked components, assembly becomes faster and more precise. You save time in the workshop while retaining the ability to modify, adjust, and rework the components according to your needs.

The modularity of PodoStep® also allows you to choose and combine different forefoot and hindfoot inserts to tailor each insole to your patients’ specific needs.

First, choose the base you wish to use for your custom orthotic insole. The composition and shape are key factors in selecting your base. We offer full-length bases (single-material or three-material) as well as three-quarter or half-length bases, depending on the desired effect. Our full-length bases are made of foam or resin, while all of our three-quarter and half-length bases are made of resin.

Next, determine which reinforcements will best meet your patient’s needs. Our selection includes midfoot, medial, and lateral reinforcements, as well as small and large heel rings. All reinforcements are made from Transflux®, Podiaflex®, or Podiafiber® Hard resins. These rearfoot components are complemented by a range of rearfoot pads designed to absorb shock.
