The Podiatech App serving podiatry in 7 key points

1 - A comprehensive, intuitive application

Coupled with the OPCT® Factory and installed in a few seconds on an iPad, the Podiatech app allows the practitioner:

  • To create a patient file;
  • To record the scanned impressions using the Structure Sensor;
  • To choose the most suitable insole;
  • To make specific corrections;
  • To send their order to the OPCT® Factory;
  • To monitor the manufacture of their orthoses.

2 - A full history of your patient

You create the patient file in the OPCT® Factory, including required fields like order reference, shoe size, and patient name, as well as optional ones like first name, gender, and contact details.

You then import the 3D impressions of the patient into the application.

You also enter all the clinical information about the patient:

  • General data from the frontal and sagittal plane (recurvatum, normal, flexum), spine, and horizontal plane, from the foot and ankle (valgus, varus, normal);
  • Pathologies treated, activities undertaken, history, etc.

3 - A wide choice of insoles

More than 60 models of 100% customisable OPCT® are available on the Podiatech app, tailored to all budgets and patients, for all activities, footwear, and pathologies.

4 - Several levels of customisation

The first PRO level allows you to import the patient's imprint scan and select an OPCT® after entering the patient's shoe size. The type of shoes intended to receive the insole and options for finishing or covering can also be added.

The ADVANCED intermediate level offers the additional option of adding patient-specific corrections. Finally, the ELITE level allows you to freely place additional elements on the design interface (CAD).

5 - A 100% customisable sole

The ELITE level, and to a lesser extent the ADVANCED level, give access to a complete list of corrections and elements that can be added to the selected model. These may include:

  • Intrinsic structural modifications (such as selecting a type of metatarsal pad, adding a toe rest... which will then be directly machined into the positive);
  • Corrections positioned between the covering and the base of the insole: reinforcements in resin, EVA, PE, or latex;
  • Lower components placed under the orthosis such as a heel lift.

All these parameters are available in the Podiatech application dedicated to the OPCT® Factory. Find out more on the OPCT® Factory page on our E-Podiatech website.

6 - A simple design interface

Thanks to its simple and intuitive interface, the application does not require any training. However, to make handling it easier, tutorials have been posted on the Podiatech YouTube channel.

7 - A basket available at all times

In the Podiatech app, your basket remains available at all times to allow you to place your order in one go, as and when you need it and optimising shipping costs.

The Podiatech app is a reliable and intuitive solution that frees up orthotic manufacturing time for professionals.
